An Antique English Oak lift lid Coffer of lovely colour, excellent detail and lovely condition from the later 1600s to the early 1700s. It has a plank top, with two front adzed panels and carving to the frieze and is of pegged construction with stile feet. Please note that the feet are still long and have not been cut down nor worn down.plus there are shaped support brackets bracing the case to the legs.
