This is a very good example of a high quality genuine antique English William IV period circa 1830 Swivel and fold over Card Table.

The rectangular top has rounded corners and swivels to expose the frieze section storage area for storing the playing cards etc. When the top is folded over the material lined playing surface is revealed

The front of the frieze section has a wide recessed panel and at either side terminates with well carved and detailed French ‘S’ shaped scrolls.

The table is supported on a vertical octagonal shaped column with lower urn shaped feature of boldly carved leaves below is a ring turning and a flat ring collar.

The base is a flat lobed platform base and under each lobe sit reeded bun feet with their original all brass castor assemblies.

Condition: Excellent - the top has been refurbished while the rest is very good original.
